G-BONE
Using the Carrier G-Bone service, you will enable clients to connect two sites (point-to-point topology) using OTN and xWDM technologies. You will thus offer high-capacity and transparent data transmission from 1 Gb/s to 400 Gb/s, which is ideal for full transparency of transmitted L2/L3 protocols with minimal transmission delay.
What are the benefits of G-Bone for the partner?
  • Continuous monitoring and care by our specialists who are available at the helpdesk 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Available throughout the Czech Republic as well as abroad
  • High transmission capacities from 1 Gb/s to 400 Gb/s
  • Support for the transmission of encrypted signals
  • Full transparency of L2 and L3 protocols
  • Wide range of available interfaces (SDH, OTN, Ethernet, SAN)
  • Minimum data transmission delay
G-BONE
We offer the G-Bone service in five versions:
  1. G-Bone SDH

Includes transparent transmission of SDH/SONET signals for specific interfaces*

  2. G-Bone OTN

Includes transparent transmission of OTUk signals for specific interfaces*

  3. G-Bone Ethernet

Includes transparent transmission of the Ethernet signal for specific interfaces*

  4. G-Bone Fibre channel

Includes the transmission of Fibre Channel signal and is suitable for connecting storage servers, the so-called Storage Area Network (SAN). The Fibre Channel service is offered on specific types of interface*

  5. G-Bone Video

Includes the transmission of video signals and is especially suitable for its distribution and contribution. This version of the service is offered on a specific interface*

*For more information on specific interfaces, see service details.

Additional services

You can increase the availability of the service by backing up the primary line. Both lines are in the Active-Active status. The customer ensures that the line is switched to backup and back.

At the same time, an automatic backup of the primary line is available. It is under the version of G-Bone plus where the lines are in the Active-Standby status.
